What an acrylic case actually changes
The cardboard stops sagging
A sealed display box collapses at the edges as soon as it is stacked or handled repeatedly. Acrylic takes that load and keeps the corners square, which is the first thing a buyer inspects at resale.
No more contact with the film
The original shrink film scuffs easily and yellows under long exposure. The case removes direct contact and lets you display the box without ever picking it up again.
Dust, UV and handling kept down
The case limits exposure to dust, fingerprints and direct handling. The acrylic provides 97% UV protection. It does not replace proper storage conditions: avoid direct sunlight, heat sources and damp environments.
A clean presentation
5 mm body and lid, 8 mm side edges with no screws. The printed face of the display stays fully readable on the shelf.
One Piece acrylic case FAQ
Does the case fit English and French displays?
Yes. Bandai uses the same box format for the English and French editions of a given set. The only variable is the display generation: see the compatibility table above.
Is the display included?
No. We sell the protective case only. It is referenced display by display so the fit is correct without shims or foam.
How does the case close?
The removable magnetic lid is held by 5 mm diameter N52 magnets, arranged in three pairs on each side. No screws and no tools are needed.
Can cases be stacked?
A few cases may be stacked carefully. For larger stacks, use one shelf per row to avoid excess load and micro-scratches.
What is the shipping time?
Tracked Colissimo delivery from France: 2 working days in mainland France, 3 to 4 working days for most EU countries and 5 to 9 working days elsewhere. Shipping is 4.90 EUR for one case in France, then 1 EUR per additional case.
Does an acrylic case protect against humidity?
No, it is not airtight. It limits dust and impacts, but storage should stay in a dry, temperate room to preserve the cardboard and the film.
Choosing the right case for your display
The One Piece Card Game display box format varies from set to set. A single case therefore does not fit the whole range: all references OP-04 to OP-19, PRB and EB share an inner size of 151 × 69 × 123 mm, while the OP-01 and OP-02 displays (blue or red bottom) share a specific format of 145 × 78 × 132 mm. The exact size is listed on each product page; check the code printed on your display before ordering.
The cases use a 5 mm acrylic body and lid with 8 mm side edges. The lid is held by 5 mm diameter N52 magnets, arranged in three pairs on each side. English and French displays use the same box format, so the case fits both editions. The display is not included.
A rigid case is not only about looks: it removes direct contact with the plastic wrap, takes the mechanical load instead of the cardboard edges and lets you show the product without handling it. It does not compensate for an unsuitable environment — cardboard remains sensitive to humidity and direct light.
